Former Governor of Abia State and the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has on Friday, finally made it open that he is ready to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari as the next President of Nigeria come 2023.
While speaking as a guest on “News Hub,” a Silverbird News 24 programme, Senator Kalu who also is the possible leading contender for the 2023 Presidency shed more light on his political ambition as the 2023 election draws near.
When asked what if he is given the chance to serve as the president of Nigeria, he responded that everyone will benefit because he will not do politics with the opportunity.
Speaking further, he revealed that he will centre his plans on development and make sure that everyone: the man on the street, the businessmen/ women, and people in every other sector will benefit from his plans.
The former Governor of Abia State also said, despite having a meeting with some key politicians he told that was is not running initially, but some key members of the North, West and South West, spoke with him about the race, and they said it is a possibility.
