Says Anambra Delegates should look out for a second option.
The immidate past PDP Anambra Governorship Candidate, Mr. Valentine Chinaeto Ozigbo has attacked the 2023 presidential aspiration of former Governor Peter Obi in a disappointing style.
The attack from Mr. Val Ozigbo to former Anambra Gov. Peter Obi 2023 Presidential ambition came while addressing PDP Anambra South delegates at his Anambra South senatorial ambition declaration and consultative meeting at Hollywood hotels, Awka earlier today the 14th May, 2022.
In his exact words to PDP Anambra South Local government executives and ward principal officers from the Senatorial district in a section of the consultative address tagged “Discussing PDP National Politics” by Valentine Ozigbo.
Mr. Valentine started by asking the Anambra South Senatorial delegates the following questions:
Mr. Val: who do you people want to become the 2023 PDP presidential candidate in Nigeria?
Delegates Answered: Peter Obi, Peter Obi and Peter Obi.
Mr. Val: Who would you prefer as your second option?
Delegates: Peter Obi.
Mr. Val: what if Peter Obi fails?
Delegates Answered: we still want Peter Obi.
Mr. Val: it is not only Anambra that will vote for Peter Obi, mention another person please?
Delegates Answered: Peter Obi.
Mr. Valentine, who was obviously disappointed with the response of the Anambra South Senatorial delegates, went on with a frowning face to say that “it is not only Anambra people that will vote at the upcoming presidential election”.
The two PDP Governors from the South East are not in support of Peter Obi. Also Governors from the North and Southern Nigeria are not with Peter Obi and therefore we must all be ready to welcome whoever that is coming to Anambra because all that matters to my likes is PDP winning APC in the next election, Mr. Val said.
He ended his speech on the subject of “PDP National politics” by saying that the delegates that will vote in the upcoming PDP National convention are very few and are mainly controlled by various state Governors and therefore those of us from Anambra State must make up our minds to win all the elective positions in Nigeria.
However, a source close to Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, who spoke angrily after the meeting at Hollywood hotels hinted that the Aguata born immidate past Anambra PDP Governorship candidate is working behind the scene to pay back his HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for the 10 million dollars, Atiku gave to him during his campaigns in 2021.
The source revealed that the current behavior of sabotaging Igbo presidential agenda by Valentine Ozigbo is not surprising to him as he was present during the signing of the agreement between the duo’s and that what was seen is the least attitude of sabotage ndi Anambra will see from him, she ended.
