The Igbo community in Nasarawa State has conferred the Agunaeche Igbo1 title on Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule on recognition of his unprecedented giant strides recorded so far in office.
This was conferred on Governor Sule when a delegation of the community led by the Eze Igbo1 of the State, Igwe Nathaniel Nduba Udeh, paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Lafia.
Governor Sule who commended the community for demostrating their entrepreneurial skills, as well as their willingness to live in peace and without fear in every part of the Country.
He informed them about the commitment of his administration to secure the lives of the State of the people, stressing that security remains the number one priority of the State Government under his leadership.
The Governor announced the appointment of two members of the community as Special Assistants during the visit by the delegation which comprised of Chief Collins Ezenwa (Mai Maggi)
The appointees are:
Chukwuemeka Igwedinma Lafia LGA, as Special Assistant on Inter-State and Mrs Lovely Okechukwu, Karu LGA to serve as Special Assistant on Culture.
