Ebonyi South: Disregard APC Propaganda, APGA Didn’t Endorse Umahi – Odohzia

The Odohzia Ebonyi Campaign council has carpeted the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State for claiming that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has abandoned its Senatorial candidate, Sir Ifeanyi Eleje, to adopt the state governor and APC Senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South, Engr. David Umahi.

In a statement signed by Mr Charles Otu, Director, Media and Publicity, Odohzia Ebonyi Campaign council, the council said that Umahi and APC has resorted to propaganda as a result of evident rejection by Ebonyi people, who are fed up by the APC.

He said: “We at the Odohzia Ebonyi Campaign council read with puzzlement, the latest gimmick of the drowning All Progressives Congress, APC Ebonyi State Chapter and its Senatorial candidate, Engr. David Umahi wherein they claimed that our beloved Party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has abandoned its Senatorial candidate, Sir Ifeanyi Eleje to adopt the former.

“We want the voting public to completely discountenance in it’s entirety, the claims of the imaginary and so-called ‘Zonal Executives’ of APGA contained in that guileless Press release from the APC.

“For want of adjectives to describe this latest macabre dance and its false actors, APGA and the entire Odohzia Ebonyi Campaign council does not know the characters being so peddled and they could best be birds of the same APC feather flocking together in Umahi’s elusive quest to represent the people of Ebonyi South by all means and at all costs.

“The characters do not in any way exist in the Party and APGA’s Constitution has clearly defined means of adoption of a candidate (s) should the need ever have arisen.

“But then, it would have been understandably our profound wisdom to even query the rationale behind this hurried hatchet job of trying to deceive Ebonyi voters with a black market adoption on election eve if not for the fact that Umahi is terrified by the fact that Eleje is the candidate to beat at the poll. Engr. Umahi must therefore be hallucinating to thinker that he can deceive the Ebonyi South voters with his fake and false ‘adoption’. Perhaps, he thought he was still smarting out his Senatorial ticket controversy with his Party!

“We at the Odohzia Ebonyi Campaign council therefore urges the Ebonyi voting public to disregard in its entirety the said false publication as the handiwork of Umahi’s failing and drowning media urchins best meant to massage his over-bloated ego in an election he had thought he could bulldoze his way without having any opponent at all.

“The end of the emperor is near, his fall will be in a few hours and it shall, indeed, be truly mighty!”
