The Eleventh Year anniversary of Citadel of Miracle Bible Church Obogwe Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo state took place on Sunday 29-10-2023.
The gathering brought alot of dignitaries from all works of life including the creme de la creme of Ministers from various denominations and churches.
The event featured Hon Andonis from Ohaji Egbema, SA to Governor Hope Uzodinma as chairman. The Chairman spoke on Imo charter of equity as very important while calling on the church to support the idea. Rt Hon Adonis Nick further lauded Dr Chinonso Mbah for his feat in the mastering and display of God’s Grace in Citadel of Miracle Bible Church.
The PDP Guber candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu came on a representative capacity. HRH Highnesses from various kingdoms, age grades, Mbaise relatives, Progressive Ministers club, Legal luminaries, gentlemen of the press, general public, friends and family, were all in attendance to support the work of God.
While administrating the oat of doctorate on the overseer, ArchBishop Steve Gbazie PhD reiterated that fact that the celebrant, Apostle Dr Chinonso Mbah went through the tutorials, obeyed the laws and ethics governing the college and had presented series of teachings that earned him the doctorate of Divinity from the prestigious CornerStone Theological Seminary.
ArchBishop Steve Gbazie further charged him to live up to expectations while lauding his efforts in handling spiritual matters and the congregation according to God’s direction.
However, Citadel of Miracle Bible Church was eleven years on Sunday 29-10-2023 but before such height of elevation, the church had gone through processes and challenges.
This celebration makes the church eleven years of uninterrupted operation in the work of God and service to humanity.
The Church started as a Ministry in a community called Oforola in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state in the Year 2009.
During the Year above written, the church was situated at a Local Hut popularly called ‘Obiri’ of Pastor Emma Okoro in Oforola.
Thought the Church started with only Five Members and was temporarily known as HOUSE OF LIBERATION BIBLE MINISTRY, but presently the crowd has remained uncountable.
Dr Chinonso Mbah hinted that in 2012, the spirit of the Lord ministered to him to host a crusade at Amafor in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area after which the church was established according to God’s direction and guideline.
However, the ministry was then relocated permanently to Obogwe in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area in the Year 2013.
The Journey was not easy when the church started here in Obogwe under an Oil Bean (Ugwu Ugba) tree and later to a Canopy/Tapoline stand and today we are in a block house. It is truly the lord’s doing, said the overseer.
In compliance to the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and by the special grace of God, the church is registered with the Cooperate Affairs Commission CAC and the name Citadel of Miracle Bible Church cannot be pirated.
As a church registered with the CAC, its operation is backed up by law and her membership are protected by law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Citadel of Miracle Bible Church is a soul winner and by the grace of God, so many Pastors and Evangelists have passed through the church and opened their respective ministries.
The Church is also known for her life investment and human capital empowerment, where so many families have benefited and more a sure to benefit by God’s special grace.
Within this little space of time, the church was able to purchase quality sound instruments and by the grace of God, none was borrowed or hired.
In addition, Citadel Of Miracle Bible Church has established a new face of the church to move the work of God to a higher level by having a functional Church Executives, the choir group, band group, Church workers, men and Youth fellowship respectively as gathered by Newsmen.
The church is making every necessary arrangement to acquire a permanent site, (Land) that can contain a FIVE HUNDRED to ONE THOUSAND Capacity following the numerical growth and speed of trending membership.
On this therefore, the Church is soliciting for financial support and possible assistance to achieve this great goal, the overseer beckoned.
The highlight of the celebration was the presentation of categories awards to respected statesmen and women, church members, traditional rulers and political appointees.
The event recorded a huge success having featured dignitaries too numerous to mention.
