The Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu is expressing optimism that the Ondo State Governorship Election on November 16th would be a successful exercise.
Yakubu says the Commission had learned its lessons from the last governorship election in Edo State in September and other previous elections, in the area of logistics and result management during the elections.
The Chairman made this known on Monday, during his visit to the State Headquarters of the Commission in Akure, the State capital.
The INEC boss also explains that he was in Ondo to assess the preparation of the Ondo State office of the Commission ahead of November 16 poll.
