A manhunt is ongoing for the gunman who killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk, an influential ally of United States President Donald Trump at Utah Valley University.
Two individuals arrested earlier have been released after official confirmed they have yet to identify any suspects.

U.S President Donald Trump expressed “grief and anger” over the killing, describing it heinous act and a dark moment for the country.
Trump has also ordered all government U.S flags flown at half-staff until Sunday in Kirk’s honor.
Kirk’s appearance on Wednesday was the first in planned 15-event “American Comeback Tour” at the Universities around the country. He often used such events, which typically drew large crowds of students, to invite attendees to debate him live.
Kirk, 31, was killed after he was hit in the neck by a single bullet, believed to have come from a shooter on the roof of nearby building – he was rushed to the hospital but died a short while later.
The killing was the latest in a series of attacks on U.S political figures, including two assassination attempts on Trump last year that have underscores a sharp surprise in political violence.
Trump, who routinely describes political rivals, judges and others who stand in his way as “radical left lunatics” and warns that they posed an essential threat to the nation, decried violent political rhetoric.
The campus killing has laid bare America’s bloody and broken politics.
Observers say Trump appeared visibly shaken, raising concerns about heightened political tensions across America.
