The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has referred to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as thieves who must not be allowed to return to power.
Amaechi, who is the Director General of the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), said this during the presidential rally in Warri, Delta State, yesterday.
Stating that the All Progressives Congress, APC, was for the poor, Amaechi said the forthcoming election was between the poor and rich.
Speaking in pidgin English, the Minister recalled that he was born in a poor town of Rivers state, the reason why he was passionate about the poor and the next elections.
According to Amaechi: “Dem born me for Ubima, Ubima na for poor people, no be big man. This election na only for poor people and big men; big men dey one side, poor men dey one side.
“APC na for poor people. So we no go allow these thieves collect power from us again o. All of us wey be poor men go comot go vote o.”
The Buhari campaign DG called on the people not to sleep on election day, because if they sleep, “PDP will steal the forms and write results as they did in the past.”
