The founder and the president of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry inc., a.k.a the Land of Freedom, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere Odumeje popularly known as ‘The Lion’ Indabosky has been released from police detention facility in Awka Anambra state after his arrest yesterday June 2nd 2020.
As ascertained from a video made available to 9News Nigeria reporter, the pastor was released on bail from the office of the Anambra state Commissioner of Police. Pastor Odumeje whose bail was guaranteed by a village chief was seen rarely smiling as he makes his way back home from the police detention.
9News Nigeria gathered that the radical and controversial pastor was apprehended by a team of police men from Anambra state police command for allegedly failing to honour police invitation based on petitions written against the pastor.
An anonymous source revealed that the police team stormed the pastor’s hide out and fished him before taking him to the police state headquarters in Awka Anambra state.
The source also commented that the self acclaimed prophet was arrested in connection to a petition written to the commissioner of police in Anambra state which alleged that the pastor was making hate speech and statements capable of inciting public nuisance
The self acclaimed prophet was invited for questioning in connection with a pending petition written to the commissioner of police in Anambra state which levelled some allegations against him. Some of the allegations included malicious broadcasts, hate speech capable of incitement of breach of peace and harmony in the society as well as offensive and provocative conducts.
9News Nigeria also gathered from a different source that the petition against Odumeje may not be unconnected to recent feud and squabbles that have been going on between Odumeje and some Igbo traditional practitioners (native doctors) whom Odumeje have abused in the course of his church speeches.

Nonsense! Even though I am not a fan of Odumeje but that petition if nothing more than hate speech was alleged lacked merit. Have the police invited Buhari, Lai Mohammed, Femi Adesina, Loretta Onochie for their hate speeches? Where is the basis of their arrest if they will leave some people and arrest others.
