Biafra Nations League, BnL, has insisted on the January 23 ultimatum issued to the federal government to release all Biafran supporters alongside the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu and Mr Benjamin Onwuka of the Biafra Zionist Federation (BZF).

In a communique issued at the end of their National Executive Council meeting held in Bakassi Peninsula on Wednesday, and signed by the National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richards, Deputy Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon and the General Admin Officer, Godstime Ntukidem, the group lashed at President Mohammadu Buhari for playing pranks and disrespecting the Igbo elders who visited him to plead with him, they warned that there will be more insecurity as a result of his stubbornness.

BnL, which has become a big challenge in the Gulf of Guinea, particularly in Bakassi Peninsula and Cameroon border towns said the group will not disclose ways it will sanction the Nigerian State.

Recently, reports emanated from the Bakassi area that the Militant arm of the group have shot down a spy drone camera flying around the creeks in the region on Friday, it is not clear whether the drone camera was sent by operatives from Nigeria or Cameroon.
