Imo Traditional Rulers at the ongoing pilgrimage in Jordan Isreal have collectively offered their Royal Prayers for the number one citizen of Imo state Nigeria, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Over there in Isreal, Imo traditional Rulers also prayed for Imo state and the challenging insecurity bedevilling the society at large.
They have also prayed for the success of the upcoming November Governorship election in Imo state, Bayelsa and Kogi state while asking God to grant the President Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu the enablement to lead Nigeria aright as his inauguration draws near.
Recall that Imo Traditional Rulers recently embarked on a remarkable spiritual Journey to the ancient lands of Jordan, Israel, and Jerusalem on the instance of the state government and are expected to pray for both the state, its government and the people at large.
Led by prominent traditional leaders, they Journeyed through the Holy sites of Jordan, Israel, and Jerusalem, immersing themselves in the rich history and spiritual significance of the region.
In addition the traditional rulers offered heartfelt prayers for the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmos Iwu, the Chief of Staff, Chief Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, and the Chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM. Eze Emmanuel Okeke, committing them into the hands of Almighty God.
Our correspodent reports that the traditional rulers were on this pilgrimage to strengthen their spiritual connection with God, seeking guidance and prosperity for the leadership of Imo State.
During their sacred ceremony, the traditional rulers poured libations as a symbol of offering, seeking divine intervention for the state government led Governor Hope Uzodinma.
9News Nigeria reports that the libations were intended to beseech God for His blessings upon the governor’s administration, ensuring good governance, development, and progress for the people of Imo State.
They fervently prayed for these key figures, entrusting their duties and responsibilities to the Almighty, seeking wisdom and guidance for their endeavors.
The pilgrimage undertaken by the traditional rulers from Imo State highlights the enduring faith and spiritual significance of the region. The pilgrim royal father’s are expected to be back to the state in few days time according to the pilgrimage schedule.
