~Prays To God To Grant Them The Fortitude To Bear The Loss
Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State has described the Former Commissioner for Infrastructure for Concession in the State , LateEngineer Fidelis Nweze as a dependable asset in the massive transformation ongoing in the State.
Governor Umahi made the remarks when he paid a condolence visit to the Wife and family members of the deceased in Abakaliki on Wednesday.
Governor Umahi who was emotion ladden over the unfortunate incident called on the wife and family members to be condoled that their late husband and son lived a life of fulfillment while on earth.
The Governor who described Late Engineer Nweze as irreplaceable regretted the unfortunate incident and prayed to God to grant him rest among the saints.
“It is too difficult to utter words regarding this, very painful but it is not how far but how well because no one questions God, one thing I want to let you know is that this very husband of yours lives and you know it because you are also a very committed child of God, so nobody would have killed him, nobody can kill a committed child of God like him, Nweze built churches for people, for four years that young man never talked about himself, about his Community, about his Local Government Area.
“He was such a man with a very nice heart, he was a son to me, what you might have lost madam is a husband in the flesh but you have a father in me and I want you to know this whether in Government or out of Government we are together in this family, part of me is here.
“Nweze had no enemy, you may be feeling the absence of Nweze but if you ask who will miss Nweze more, it is me, he was very selfless, a man who never said no to me, we worked even on Sundays, but I want you to know that there is nothing we can do, but don’t worry yourself because what we can not change, we have to accept, you have to take heart, we are totally with you.”
Governor Umahi while praying to God to equip the family with the strength to bear his departure with equanimity, promised to always take care of his immediate family even after leaving office.
The Chairman of Christian Association Of Nigeria, CAN, Ebonyi State Chapter, Reverend Father Abraham Nwali was on hand to pray for the peaceful repose of the dead and grant the mourners the fortitude to bear the loss.
