Dear colleagues,
Our attention has been drawn to a recent videos currently making the rounds online, Where some of our colleagues visited the residence of one of our debtors in Abuja in accordance with our loan recovery drive. As expected, this video has generated variety of sentiments, thoughts and opinions which at this juncture requires some context to facilitate better customer management and ourselves as a team.
Consistent with our strategic business objectives, we had prioritized the recovery of all outstanding loans owed the bank with the clear intent to bring same in conformity with agreed levels. Consequently, the recent visit of our colleagues was in line with this objectives and solely to address the indebtedness of the customer.
While we did not deliberately put out our colleagues actions on social media. I urge that we see the aftermath of the recent events in line with our resolve to realising our recovery objectives with a view of sustaining and improving our service delivery to all our stakeholders.
Lastly, I encourage us all to be bold and tenacious, fiercely engaging The market and refusing all forms of intimidation which the current phase may present.
