A Youth mobilizer and politician in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Comrade Kingsley Obioha has called on LG Chairmanship and wards councillorship aspirants from the ten wards of Owerri West to stop leveraging their hopes of winning on political godfathers in the area.
Kingsley Obioha who hails From Umuguma Owerri West also pleaded with Owerri West leaders to stop given aspirants uncertain hopes while eating deep their pockets through gifts and brown envelopes.
Obioha also added that using none party members to fight APC members is a growing challenge facing the All Progressives Congress Party in the area.
Meanwhile, chairmanship and councillorship Aspirants are good to play the game in a brotherly manner devoid of infighting, words of mouth, envy and financial inducement.

My special advice during this election is for us to reduce the promises and assurances of victory we are giving to aspirants. Yes it is politics but nothing is certain until it appears to be certain.
Even when it appears to be certain, it is still not assured. Football match result can change in seconds to the end of the match. I have observed that some are buying forms because of the assurance given to them by some persons or people.
It is not a wrong thing to say or do but let’s remember we have a party image to protect and to avoid massive exodus from APC like the PDP in 2013-2014 and still counting.
I have also advised people within my reach to stop accepting responsibilities they cannot influence. Why would someone be having issues with an aspirant because he/she thinks he will lose because he/she does not have your support? Evaluate your support and know the limit.
Where my support begins and where it stops is very important to me. It will help me to know how I will go about making promises and pursuing people. The owners of this piece know themselves.
The future of this party is very important. We will not be happy if anyone sacrifices APC for his/her personal interest.
However, many aspirants are usually blind. When you have an ambition you will understand. It is not easy for them.
Please even if you know the Governor, the President of the State Party Chairman, do not leverage on that to make promises. Power is like a standing fan, it rotates within seconds.
