Former U.S First Lady Michelle Obama has firmly addressed recent rumors suggesting marital strain with her husband, former President Barack Obama.
Michelle made the remarks during her appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett Today, where she discussed speculation surrounding her absence at high-profile events such as President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and former President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, both of which Barack Obama attended alone.
She asserted hat if there were any issues between them, the public would not be left in the dark.
Laughing off the rumors, the 61-year-old author and advocate said, “If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it.”

She emphasized that her approach to conflict is not to stay silent or suffer in secrecy.
“I’m not a martyr. I would be problem-solving in public. I’d be like, ‘Let me tell you what he did?’” Michelle added with a smile.
Also joining the conversation was her brother and podcast cohost, Craig Robinson, who reinforced her point with humor.
“If they were having a problem, I would be doing a podcast with him,” said Robinson.
The former first lady’s comments come amid ongoing speculation about her absence from certain public appearances, but her candid response appears to put any doubts to rest.
