Muslim-Muslim ticket: APC supporters asked why a Northern Christian is never allowed to be CAN President

As the merits and demerits on the choice of Muslim-Muslim ticket by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress-APC raise more dust and has refused to settle since it was consummated on Sunday 10th July both sympathetic Christians and Muslims to the course are not leaving any stone unturned in their quest to justify their stance.

Why a large chunk of Christians condemn the APC decision, other Christians see nothing wrong with that in Nigeria.

Also justifying the pairing of both Muslims as President and Vice President a post by an unknown source where Northern Christians are asking the Christian Association of Nigeria – CAN which has never elected or chosen a Northern Christian to be its President since its creation in 1976
has gone viral in all social media platforms.

The post says since 1976 till date no Northern Christian has never been elected President of CAN and has gone ahead to list out all its President and the Presidents of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria – PFN who were and are Christians till date. The post reads:

SINCE 1976 TILL DATE NO NORTHERN CHRISTIAN HAS BEEN ELECTED AS PRESIDENT OF CAN.

Dominic Cardinal Ekandem (late) 1976—1986
Anthony Cardinal Okogie 1988—1995
Prelate Sunday Mbang 1994—2003
Primate Jasper Akinola 2003—2007
Archbishop John Onaiyekan 2007—2010
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor 2010—2016
Reverend Samson Ayokunle 2016 till date.
If CAN cannot elect Northerners as her president since 1976, she has no moral justification to challenge the APC decision.

Reverend J O Boyejo

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Archbishop Benson Idahosa

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Reverend Dr. Felix Omobude

Bishop Francis Wale Oke

These are past and present PFN Presidents.
None is a Northern Christian.

Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, Bauchi, and Kogi Christians are not considered.
Except they are telling us that it is the Pentecostal Fellowship of Southern Nigeria.
This is not right!

Has CAN and PFN as a body practiced justice, equity, and fairness in the selection of their leadership?

Why do they work tirelessly to make sure no Northern Christian Emerge CAN and PFN President?

Don’t We Have Northern Nigeria Christians?

Injustice is injustice irrespective of where it is being done.

Before you blame the rope check the depth.
