The Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC has unveiled the Niger Delta Sports Festival, NDSF 25th Anniversary Logo In Imo State Capital as captured by 9News Nigeria Owerri.
The event was held friday in Owerri, Imo state Nigeria and featured alot of personalities in the NDDC, government functionaries and the sports commission.
Declaring the event open, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON reiterated the commission’s dedication and commitment to advancing critical sectors, from infrastructure to human capital development.
Uzodinma stated that the programs and policies of this commission will showcase its important role in promoting sustainable growth across the region.
While conveying best wishes as the NDSF commences, Governor Uzodinma expressed commendation to the board, management and staff of the NDDC for their consistent efforts in addressing the developmental needs of the region.
The Governor hinted that NDDC will progress the region while fostering collaboration and innovation to unlock the region’s full potential as 9News reports.
The commission through their spokesman earlier assured the government of Imo State to continue in their symbolic developmental plans with the renewed hope agenda of the Federal government and the NDDC zone to bring massive giant strides in the area.
During his speech at the unveiling of the NDDC 25th Anniversary Logo and the Niger Delta Sports Festival (NDSF) Mascot in Owerri, Governor Uzodinma highlighted the significance of the commission as a vital force driving the #RenewedHope agenda and the transformation of the Niger Delta region.
The NDDC visit to Imo this Friday afternoon on an Unveiling of the 25th Anniversary Logo and the NDSF is expected to start yielding deserving dividends to Imo people while the commission is expected to go grassroots to rural communities to develop the hinterlands as a matter of urgent importance and service delivery.
