European giants – Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a deal in excess of €100 million to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, in a move designed to reinforce their attack and allow Kylian Mbappe to return to his natural position on the left wing rather than operating as the central striker.
Osimhen described as a “pure No. 9”, is admired for his finishing ability, speed, and consistency in front of goal – qualities Madrid believe would complement their attacking set up.
Galatasaray only secure Osimhen on permanent transfer last summer in a deal worth €75 million, and the Turkish Champions are expected to demand a significant profit If they choose to negotiate.
With Super Eagles star in impressive form this season, It remains unclear whether Galatasaray would be willing to entertain offers, despite Madrid’s strong interest.
