Traders from Benue State are all out to sarbotage government efforts in curtailing the current “End Bad Governance in the state via hike in prices of goods and fuel.
9News Nigeria reports that; since the beginning of the nation’s wide protest that is slated to hold for 10 days from 1-10 August 2024,Benue State people have never been out for once to sympathize with those who are protesting in the country at the moment to end bad governance.
In a press statement release by the Executive Governor Of Benue State,Rev.Fr.Hyacinth Iormem Alia, commended Benue for not joining the protest, saying Tinubu will fix Nigeria and and him will fix Benue,he appealed to all to patient as more goodies from the government were on the way.
Benue traders at the moment are out sarbotaging the government’s efforts by the sudden hike in prices goods and fuel. A mudu of rice have suddenly increase from N200-N2300, Beans N300-3500.Fuel from N650-N930 ETC.
Recall that, Benue State is part of the Northern Nigeria,North Central to be precise,who it’s know for it high food production,tagged by the Nation as “Food Basket Of The Nation”.
Not been patriotic, Proactive in handling this protest, their is a likely possible of the protest holding in some parts of the State.
As at the time of filling this report this is currently no protest in Benue and part of the State.
