Some of the contributors of the relief funds are UNHCR, WFP, FAO, and UNDP who donated a total of ₦4.3 billion.

The flood disaster, which occurred in September this year, has affected over one million people and displaced over hundred thousand households.

At the presentation, the committee has recommended that the remaining ₦4.45 billion should be channelled to rehabilitation of earth roads in flood-hit areas and distribute the remaining food and non-food items to host communities.
