A building built on a hill in the Otun Araromi area in Magodo-Isheri, Lagos State has collapsed today, Saturday. No fewer than four persons have been confirmed dead from the incident.
Confirming the incident to 9News correspondent at the scene, the General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Femi Oke-Osayintolu, said the tragedy struck around 8:00 a.m.
According to him, some injured victims trapped in the rubble had been rescued and rushed to a hospital while efforts are ongoing to find more people who may also be trapped underneath. Emergency officials are on the ground to ensure safety at the scene.
