As friends and well wishers of Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Ngozi Lemchi, the newly elevated Provost of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, continue to thank God and felicitate with her on her new appointment, the Convener of Alvan Progressive Forum, Comrade Chigozie Okororie, who is a Senior Staff of the institution, joins the lovers of good things, to congratulate the new Provost of the institution.
Comrade Okororie stated this yesterday in Owerri the state capital, during an interactive session with some group of journalists.
According to him, the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Ngozi Lemchi, a holder of Ph.D in Home Economics Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, is the best thing that has happened in the institution in recent times, hence she will employ her wealth of experience to transform the school for the better.
Speaking further, he said that as a former Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship, former Head of Department, Home Economics and former Deputy Provost, Dr. Lemchi is coming into her new office well prepared to make a great difference as the College’s 13th substantive Provost and the institution’s second female Provost since its establishment.
In his prayers, the Alvan Don, prayed to God almighty to keep and protect the newly appointed Provost to finish her tenure well, while charging all the Alvan Community to give her all the necessary support needed to position the school to an enviable heights.
