Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has revealed that his administration invested N3.6 billion in the procurement of fertilizer and other farming inputs for farmers in the State.
This was disclosure was made during the New Year State Broadcast by the governor in Jos.
Mutfwang says the Investment was aimed at boosting food production and other agricultural activities in the State, noting that data of over 300,000 farmers has been collected with a view to streamline resource allocation, which will be launched soon.
