Super Eagles of Nigeria lose 0-1 to Algeria in International Friendly

The Super Eagles of Nigeria tonight lost 0-1 to the Desert Foxes of Algeria in an International Friendly game in Austria. Algerian defender, Ramy Bensebaini, gave the Desert Foxes the lead in the 6th minute of the game and they were able to hold on for a well-fought victory.

Despite the inclusion of in-form Super Eagles players like Everton’s Alex Iwobi, Villareal’s Samuel Chukweze, and Captain of the squad, Ahmed Musa, the team still struggled to carve out clear cut chances to give them that all-important goal.

The Super Eagles will play Tunisia next week in another International Friendly game in preparation for their double-header clash against Sierra Leone in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
