An undisclosed person or suspected government agent has hired some foreigners living in the USA to protest as Nigerians in the New York City of the United States of America.
In a video seen by 9News Nigeria correspondent, some Non-Nigerian foreigners were seen wearing Nigerian flags and carrying placards as pro-Nigerian-Government protesters during the United Nations meeting.
One of the protesters was carrying a placard with the inscription “NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS NOT TARGET OF GENOCIDE” When asked if he was a Nigerian, he said “NO” and that he was paid to protest on behalf of Nigeria.
Another one was carrying a placard with the inscription “STRONGER TOGETHER,” and when asked if he is a Nigerian, he refused to talk as one of the organisers told him not to talk. Another member of the group said he is not Nigerian but protesting because he was paid to do so.
