Afrobeats superstar and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has revealed his presidential ambition of becoming a president of an African country in near future.
In a video via Snapchat, the singer stated that he envisions himself as a forward-thinking, young, and active leader who seeks progress rather than power or wealth.
He declared that he is officially putting himself forward for presidency.
The Skin Tight crooner stated that he had been reflecting on the idea for some time.
“I have been thinking about it.
“I think it’s time to share it with you guys. Some of you might be from some country, specifically in Africa, and you are looking for a president – a president who is not looking for money and power but forward- thinking, young, active and can move your country better “, he said
“So I’m officially putting myself forward for presidency”, Mr Eazi declared.
Mr Eazi, who currently tied the knot with Temi Otedola was born in Nigeria but shared deep connection with Ghana, where he studied and launched his music career – a connection that shaped his signature Banku music style.
His revelation adds to the growing list of Nigerian entertainers expressing political aspirations.
