The Convener, Campaign Against Crime Initiative (CACI) and the Founder Youth Advocate For Peace Justice and Empowerment Network (YAPJEN) Amb Timothy Nwachukwu has lauded the Inspector General of the Nigeria Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu NPM, mni, The Anambra State CP John Abang fdc and the Police Service Commission over the recent Promotion of twenty one serving and dedicated officers in Anambra State Police Command.
In a press release made available to Newsmen online, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu described the Promotion of the officers as a well deserved and encouraging gestures which will boost the morale and spur them to higher dedication and commitment towards effectively policing the Nigeria State.
He described the newly promoted CP Chris Owolabi, as a noiseless but deligent loyal officer whose contribution to the peace and security of Anambra State over the years cannot be quantified, he further eulogised the DPO B’ Division now ACP Emmanuel Anene Ogbuanya whom he described as “onurube Nwanne” (the one that hears the cry of his brethren) for his efforts in curtailing crime under his division, he further commended CSP Haruna Mohammed(Command PPRO) “Akpoaza” due to his quick response to emergency call, inquiry and request at all times, CSP Frank Omeru (Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police) the tirelessly working and ever ready trusted and dedicated loyal Officer.
Other distinguished officers whose indelible imprint in Anambra State cannot be erased and who were beneficiaries of the recent Promotion include two Deputy Commissioners of Police DCPS David Iloyanomon and Osagie John Agans-ira of, two Assistant Commissioners of Police including Sixteen (16) Chief Superintendents of Police(CSPS) among who are CSP Chukwunonso A.Onukwor(DPO Anaku)CSP Ugwu Ifeadikachi(DPO Ihiala Division)CSP Kolo Isah(OC Safer Highways) and CSP Ezeh Linus A. Uchenna(OC Operations Udoka) among others.
The anti- crime Advocate and Model United Nations Ambassador assured the Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police ably headed by CP John B.Abang,fdc of the resolve and commitment of his group towards the all round improvement of the Anambra police Command.
Amb Timothy Nwachukwu reminded the newly promoted officers that the reward for good work is more work, Hence, the need for them to rejig and not relent in living up to the expectation of the newly position accorded them.
