A tragic event occurred in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday, March 19, where Bobby Kabah and his pregnant wife lost their lives in a horrifying incident involving suspected cultists.
9News Nigeria gathered from an anonymous resident of the community that Kabah and his pregnant wife were relaxing at home in Agidiasei quarters when two armed assailants entered their residence around 8:35 pm and shot them without mercy.
The source explained that Bobby, who had recently suffered a leg injury from a motorcycle accident, was at home with his partner. The gunmen entered the house from the rear, where they encountered the couple and opened fire, tragically resulting in their deaths.
“Bobby was at home with his partner due to his recent leg injury from a motorcycle accident. The gunmen entered through the rear of the house, encountering him and his pregnant wife before opening fire, resulting in the tragic demise of both,” the source recounted.
SP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson of the state police command, confirmed the distressing incident, stating that they were not formally married but were living together. He also mentioned that the Commissioner of Police has instructed the case to be transferred to the state CID for a thorough investigation.
SP Edafe said “Yes, it is confirmed. They were not formally married but cohabiting and were both slain in the same household.”
