Though the problem of water has been for decades maybe because of the topography of the state. It takes alot of resources to pump water from nearby areas to the city.

When our news crew went round the city we found out that some of the source of water wells are dirty and the drops of water coming out from the wells is not enough to serve the number of people in search of water.

Information revealed to our news crew was that during the time of former governor Sullivan Chime, there was pipe borne facilities in the state where residents could fetch water but governor UGWUANYI came and ignored the water supply in the state, our source revealed.

Meanwhile, a call on the Special Assistance to the governor on water resources, Hon. Anthony Onyia has assured the residents of the state that the issue of scarcity and inadequate supply of water will soon be a by- goon.

The governor however assured ENUGU residents of prompt attention to provide water all over the state.
