A former Governor of Enugu State , Chimaroke Nnamani has declared that his focus in the ninth Senate will be debate on the Nigerian project to make it work better for all Nigerians .
Nnamani, who represents Enugu East Senatorial District , stated this at a media briefing in Abuja , saying he was confident that the Senate under the leadership of Senator Ahmad Lawan , would serve as veritable platform to drive the debate.
He said rather than engage in the basic bread and butter politics , educated advocacy on how to make the Nigerian project work better would be the central focus of the ninth National Assembly.
“ My coming to the Senate on a second missionary journey is driven by a greater sense of the need for the ‘sleeping giant ’ called Nigeria to wake up from its slumber,” he said .
