Group under the aegies of Amaechi support group has extolled the leadership quality exemplified by the honourable minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi in his days as the governor of Rivers state and presently as a federal minister.
The group made this statement through its national co- ordinator Evangelist ThankGod Dibia at an event organized for stakeholders in this course in Owerri.
He however stated that Nigeria needs such a servant like Rotimi Amaechi to cussion the democratic settings and establish good governance.
The group had wondered why leaders are not sensitive of the plights of the people and applauded the leadership pattern set in place by Rotimi Amaechi.
On a chat with the press, the director of media and publicity, Imo state, stated the need to position good leaders and technocrats in the epicenter of government to make governance easy to get to the reach of the masses. He eulogized the working relationship between the executive and the legislative arm of government and requested the group to stand firm for Rt.Hon. Amaechi to stand out in higher positions of power.He added that President Buhari is a listening leader whose interest geared towards improving the welfare of the people and yielding to the voices of the patriots.
Information revealed that Amaechi Support group has its followership across the wards of the states of the federation as membership has continued to increase on daily basis.
The group in their address which reads as thus; We are happy to belong to this group and course.The reason we must be relentless is to see the devidends of democracy domiciled in our various localities and we have found a man who’s track records shows that he can do it for us”
We should come out in our numbers, invite friends to promote and institute what I call the Nigeria of our dreams”
Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is a house hold name today in Nigeria who has proven to be different from others. His days as Governor of Rivers State, was transformational and everybody who witnessed the time will attest to the fact that the development he brought on board transformed the state till date.
We thank the president of the federal republuc of Nigeria for the recent approval of the porthacourt Maiduguri Rail line under Rotimi Amaechi as the transport minister.This is a test that when Amaechi comes on board to vie for any elective position in Nigeria , the South and East will benefit more and we will support his ambition.
Therefore, for us not to miss this chances, let us follow a man who’s antecedents conotes development and proactive leadership.
